Public education is maintained by the Capistrano Unified School District, which features award winning facilities such as Concordia Elementary School, Shorecliffs Middle School, and San Clemente High School. The Outlets at San Clemente is an outdoor shopping center that offers 70 merchants like Starbucks and Levi’s Outlet Store. The San Clemente Municipal Golf Course is to the south. And the San Onofre State Beach features camping, kayaking, biking, swimming, bird watching, fishing, and surfing.
The City of San Clemente is known as the “Spanish Village by the Sea” because of its Spanish Colonial architecture. It is also one of the best surfing cities with its year-long swells. This is home to many surfing tournaments and manufacturers, such as Noll Surfboards and Timmy Patterson Surfboards.
